Our aviary nets consist of 15-fiber (3 strands of 5 threads), UV-resistant polyethylene and are very stable and resilient due to their special knotting. The color of our nets is black, so they are largely unremarkable for the environment. We offer our nets in various mesh sizes and cutting variants. Most of our customers use the nets for aviary construction. However, they are also very suitable for fruit growing, pond covers or sports facilities (e.g. driving ranges on golf courses). This variant is the cheapest option. The width of the net depends on the machine width (different depending on the mesh size). When delivered, the stitches are still diagonal. This means that the customer must first apply one long and one long side stitch by stitch, taking into account the possibly different mesh sizes of the side boundary (usually wire mesh) and the aviary net. The remaining sides are then drawn, initially provisionally fastened, retightened after a rest period of a few hours and, provided the meshes of the net are then square, finally fastened. A stable side fastening is therefore a prerequisite for the use of these nets. In aviary construction, it is advisable to install the central supports only after the net has been attached. The additional need for overhangs in width and length depends on the height of the side fence and the desired height in the middle of the aviary. The mesh size 50 X 50 mm is most frequently requested for pheasant aviaries; for partridge aviaries usually 30 X 30 mm. The prices given apply to network orders of 50 sqm or more, or a net value per network order of at least € 500, with an order value below this we may charge a surcharge. We grant discounts for nets from 1000 sqm per net. These nets are also suitable for throwing over ponds or individual fruit trees, because they are tailored so that the mesh does not have to be stretched to square from the outset. Width and length are therefore different depending on customer requirements (no standard widths). A stable side structure for attaching the net is usually not necessary. The 3 X 5 size yarn corresponds to the size of the nets and is often used to repair holes of different sizes. The coil weight corresponds approximately to the length. The 3 X 15 strength yarn can be used to mount the net on the side fence, but also as a base for the nets for the supports. It is made of the same material, but here 3 strands of the 3 X 5 version have been processed. This shortens the length accordingly. Plastic nose rings for pheasants and partridges For the breeding of pheasants and partridges, the nose rings made of a special plastic are a good help, especially against feather pecking. They are placed between the upper and lower beak and their ends hooked into the nostrils. They are available in different sizes for different ages, in which feather pecking can increasingly occur. Color of the rings: white or natural. You save cutting or burning the beaks. Delivery in packs of 100 pieces. The gross prices include the currently applicable 19% VAT. 4. Nose caps + pens for pheasants Nose caps also offer good help against feather pecking when raising the pheasants. In contrast to the plastic rings, the size only has to be changed once and they can be reused after cleaning. The nose caps are also made of a special plastic in black color. The caps are placed on the beak; these nasal caps are attached with a special pin that is pierced through the nostrils. They also save the need to cut or burn the beaks and generally do not lead to beak adhesions. The feed and water intake of the animals can be done without any problems, only the spontaneous short pecking (typical of feather feeding) can no longer take place, as a prior short fitting of the cap is required. As a rule, the animals get used to it very quickly. However, to get used to it, the small cap should be put on at the age of 6 weeks at the latest and the gender-specific cap for the larger animals should be changed at the age of 10 to 11 weeks.
